Important information and conditions

GUARANTEE FOR A PARTICULAR PITCH
If you want to be sure you get the pitch you want, it costs DKK 100, – per booking. Alternatively, you can be moved to another pitch in same category. The choice must be made before payment of the first rate.

ELECTRICITY
The electricity cost is not included in seasonal pitches and cottages. Here you have to pay DKK 3,75 /kWh.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The rented unit is free from 14:00 on the day of arrival. If you arrive later than 18:00, please inform the reception by phone or email: info@bogensecamping.dk. On departure, the pitch must be free at 12:00

BRACELET
On arrival, the children must wear a bracelet so we can see that they stay at the campsite and are allowed to use the playgrounds.. If the bracelet breaks during the stay, a new one can be made at the reception.

INDOOR WATERPARK AND OUTDOOR POOL
When you stay at Bogense Strand Camping, all overnight guests can use the Bogense Indoor Waterpark and our outdoor pool at discounted prices.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND
When book a holiday at Bogense Strand Camping, the booked period is binding. You can cancel your booking on the following terms:

With Full Cancellation Protection you are covered regardless of the reason for cancellation. The protection costs 9% of the total price of the stay incl. all fees and charges.

With Disease Cancellation Protection you are covered in case of an emergency illness or death among one of the participants which must be documented. The insurance costs 4% of the total price of the stay incl. all fees and charges.

Cancellations will cover until 12.00 the day before booked arrival. Only written cancellation by mail is valid. An administration fee of 250, – is payable at cancellation, regardless of the cancellation protection you have purchased.

Cancellation Policy can be ordered when booking the stay, and not sooner than the first installment due date. There is no cancellation right on the Cancellation Protection.

Without cancellation protection
If canceled more than 30 days before arrival, the full package price will be refunded, however, DKK 500.00 will be deducted in administration fee.
If canceled between 30 days and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the stay will be refunded.
If canceled less than 14 days before arrival, no refund will be charged.

Sales- and delivery conditions

In the following, you find useful information about the use of our online booking. Among other things, you can read about how we treat your personal information, how you receive your booking confirmation and receipt, and much more. When we in the following write BOGENSE, it is a synonym for Bogense Strand Camping.
People under 21 years cannot camp at our site without their parents. If youngsters below 21 years book through our online booking anyway, we have the right to reject the persons upon arrival, without any refunds.

Payment

All prices stated in BOGENSES online booking system, are like in any other places on the website, mentioned in Danish Kroner (DKK) including VAT and taxes, unless something else is mentioned and clearly appears in the current situation.
Payments can be made with one of the approved credit/debit cards in online booking, among others; Dankort, Visa, MasterCard og Diners. There is a fee on all cards.

Information about trading on the internet

You can safely trade on the internet through our online booking system. You are as a consumer already secured against misuse of your credit card online through the bank, hence there is no risk connected to using your credit card online. You can read more about what you as a consumer should be aware of, when buying online, on the following page: www.fdih.dk.

Changing the booking

If you need to change the booking, like number of persons or dates of booking, we remain in our rights, to charge an administrational fee of up to 250 DKK.

Once your stay has begun, the booking period is considered binding and cannot be passed on to others.

Delivery

At booking or payment for a cabin, a site for tent or a site for your own caravan, you will be given a contract from BOGENSE, where you can see the accounting for your booking. The contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and will also be sent to you through e-mail immediately after booking, if a correct e-mail address has been provided.

If for some reason you have not received your contract that confirms your purchase, and you have not received an error-message from the system, you should write to the address or telephone mentioned below.

Delivery of the ordered product happens upon arrival at BOGENSE on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both these times are stated in the contract mentioned above. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or be exchanged into cash.

Cancellation and refund

When you book at Bogense Strand Camping the booked period is binding. If you will need to cancel after the stay has begun, it is your personal insurance company that must cover the expenses. Bogense Strand Camping does not refund any money for the unused period.

We therefore recommend, that you buy a Cancellation protection, since accommodation on camping sites are considered as temporary accommodation for holiday purposes, and thereby is not covered by the Danish Law of regret and refunds for consumers. (Forbrugeraftaleloven §18, stk. 2, pkt. 12.) We offer the following options:

 

Full Cancellation protection

Covers no matter the cause of cancellation. The protection costs 9% of the total price for the stay, including all additional fees and taxes. There is an administrational fee of 250 DKK at cancellation.
The cancellation protection covers until 12 oclock the day before booked arrival. Only written cancellation through e-mail is valid.
There is no right of withdrawal on the cancellation protection.

 

Cancellation protection in case of illness

Covers in case of acute occurred illness or death among one of the travelling companions, which must be documented.
The protection costs 4% of the total price for the stay, including all additional fees and taxes. There is an administrational fee of 250 DKK at cancellation.
The cancellation protection covers until 12 oclock the day before booked arrival. Only written cancellation through e-mail is valid.
There is no right of withdrawal on the cancellation protection.
If you wish an extended cancellation protection, you should buy the Full cancellation protection.

The cancellation protection can be ordered when you book the stay, and latest when the first payment is due. If you book with us through telephone, you must state it yourself, if you want to buy cancellation protection.

Medical report and other documents are paid by the guest.

Without cancellation protection

When cancelling more than 30 days before arrival, the whole amount is compensated, except for an administrational fee of 500 DKK.
When cancelling between 30 and 14 days before arrival, 50% of the whole amount is compensated.
When cancelling less than 14 days before arrival, no amount is compensated.

 

Registration of information
BOGENSE registers your name, address, e-mail address and other information given in connection to the purchase, in their guest archive. The information will not be passed on, but BOGENSE keeps it for 5 years.

BOGENSE use serverpagecookies and a safe connection to create the security around the information you give on the page. When you pay with credit card, the registration takes place through a secure server, where information is encrypted before it is sent through the internet.
Bogense Strand Camping take precautions against pricing errors in the online booking, hence it is always the prices stated on the website that are applicable.

Complaint handling

Should any problem arise, the staff in the reception must be notified within reasonable time after the guest has become aware of the problem. Failure to do so, will normally cause the right, for later demands for compensation, to withdraw. And we therefore encourage all guests to inform us, if something does not live up to your expectations.

Complains about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (the stay), shall be mentioned for BOGENSE within reasonable time after you have noticed the problem, or should have noticed the problem at regular look through the contract. You can complain verbally or written. Two years after receiving the product (the stay), the rights to complain withdraw (Købeloven §83, stk. 1), unless something else has been agreed from both parties.

When BOGENSE receives your complaint, it is treated as fast as possible. BOGENSE will decide if the received purchase shall be refunded, changed or compensated. At any time, we prefer to solve all situations before time of departure, since it gives a broader opportunity for finding a solution.
